it snowed today...

lots
what i learnt today:

1. when the snow comes down, it doesn't matter who or how old you are... a snowball fight will follow
2. driving a car through a narrow icy roads during a blizzard, is oh so scary
3. it doesn't matter how much the authorities tell you that preparations are in place to deal with the snow. hundreds of people will still get stuck, in this case the main road in and out of cornwall

fish finger fm

the tunes section is now up and running. thank you

kicking off things around here are the fantastic young band from sheffield the arctic monkeys with 'a certain romance'. the lead singer alex turner has recently been claimed as the coolest man on the planet and at 19 years of age, i'm not ashamed to announce, is nothing short of impressive.

park bench

it was early summer, the park had been closed for months due to foot and mouth.
there wasn't many people about and rabbits and other wildlife were everywhere. we sat there for hours, suddenly the sun had set, we then left and had dinner with friends in a pizza place, i don't think i'll ever feel like that again
